Description Glyn Normington CLA 2011-07-21 10:40:32 EDT
Currently trace log messages appear in log.log but nothing in the eventlog or the console warns the user that the port is not available.

To reproduce, run Equinox with a telnet console on port 2401, e.g.:

java -jar org.eclipse.osgi-3.7.0.v20110224.jar -console 2401

Then start Virgo and note the absence of warning messages on the console.

This enhancement should apply to all four console ports: kernel and user region; telnet and ssh.

Fix provided to user region with commit http://git.eclipse.org/c/virgo/org.eclipse.virgo.kernel.git/commit/?id=aec3e58e1ede8b3b13ce2e0bc41f14c72076f785
