Currently the model explorer depends from validation.
It would be interesting to make the model explorer independent from validation: The model should be only responsible for the exploration of diagrams, validation to validate the semantic elements and we have to establish an independent service to create the decorations for the validated elements (Bug 325610).

Fixed in revision 7463 (trunk). The fix only removes the dependency which was no longer needed (already fixed some time ago with the creation of a decoration service).
