If you run the snippet I'll attach you can see that for most sizes hitting the Red / Green buttons will fade between the colors. However at larger sizes (i.e. maximized) the fading stops happening...

I'm really hoping to add some fading effects into the 4.x UI but this is preventing me from doing so...

it seems to work for me on Windows 7, does this only fails on XP ?

Silenio, Could you please see if you can take a look at this during M2? I'd really like to be able to put something cool on the N&N page...;-).

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
