Description Li Ding CLA 2011-07-13 11:28:37 EDT
When I tried to connect to a daemon running on AIX I got error saying like "no such folder". It complained that .eclipse folder was not available. It turns out my new id does not have authority to create a folder on the server.

However I think RSE should be able to handle this case by disabling functions which need .eclipse folder.

Li, does this need to be backported to RSE 3.2.x?
Comment 4 Xuan Chen CLA 2011-07-13 13:01:39 EDT
The fix looks good. Thanks.
Comment 5 David McKnight CLA 2011-07-13 13:14:28 EDT
Thanks for the review, Xuan. I've committed the change to cvs.

Li, let me know whether a backport is needed.
Comment 6 Li Ding CLA 2011-07-14 15:27:43 EDT
Yes, it needs a backport because our product picks up RSE 3.2.2.

I've created bug 352159 for the backport.
