Description andres dominguez CLA 2011-07-12 22:05:44 EDT
Using a report design perspective in Indigo.

When trying to run the report in the web viewer or run as odp, ods, ext, the system quit and have to re open again. This ocurre each time you want to try.

I am using linux ubuntu 11.04, Eclipse Indigo and Birt 3.7.0

Thanks

Please attach the hs_err_pid crash logs.
And does the eclipse crashes only for the first time you preview report? After restart, the report can be previewed?

And does this issue exist for the html/pdf emitter either?

I guess this is a bug about internal browser. We already have one on TED.

Please reopen the case.

Today I have downloaded eclipse platform for x64 (3.7.2) and I am facing EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM.

I started eclipse from the shell, when eclipse ends there is no error being displayed on the screen. Like you would normally end eclipse by yourself.

the very strange thing is the following... It just happens on Linux. If I make this on Windows7 64 Bit Ultimate, no problem at all.

Where do i get the "hs_err_pid" ????

I am running gentoo Linux 64 bit:
