Orion 0.3, Chrome 13, Firefox 5 Running Orion on localhost: 1. Create a new file, open it in the Orion editor. 2. Input a non-ASCII character. I tried 'É' (U+00C9) 3. Save and reopen the file. 4. The character is mangled. No matter what encoding I interpret it as (utf-8, windows-1252, etc) it still looks messed up. This doesn't happen on orionhub or orion.eclipse.org so I assume that it is an issue running the Orion server on Windows.
That particular character is supported by ISO-8859-1. However, even when I use that encoding to write, it gets messed up.
And I must mention that when I tried few other characters from UTF-8, they looked alright without fiddling with the encoding.

When I use the ISO-8859-1, it turns out alright. But strange because I guess ISO-8859-1 is a subset of windows 1252, which is default in windows.
