When deriving a grammar from Xbase the generator produces a stub for the JvmModelInferer and registers it to the runtime module. But when deriving a grammar "just" from Xtype the stub is not generated. However, it will be very likely that you implement the inferer when you derive a grammar from Xtype, thus the stub should be also generated then.
