Build Identifier: 20110615-0604 After I followed http://dev.clojure.org/display/doc/Getting+Started+with+Eclipse+and+Counterclockwise , I find that the file I added using File -> New File -> Clojure file (under src) is not present in the GUI under the src/ folder (even though it physically exists in the filesystem. Here are some more details from IRC: Jul 05 21:09:15 <rindolf> Hi all. After I've followed http://dev.clojure.org/display/doc/Getting+Started+with+Eclipse+and+Counterclockwise with the latest Eclipse build on Mageia Linux Cauldron the *.clj file does not appear under src. Can anyone help? Jul 05 21:14:24 <ron> rindolf: are you sure you followed the tutorial properly? Jul 05 21:14:41 <rindolf> ron: yes, I do. Jul 05 21:21:54 <ron> rindolf: do you see the file on the disk (that is, not within eclipse)? Jul 05 21:22:02 <rindolf> ron: let me see. Jul 05 21:22:23 <rindolf> ron: yes, I do. Jul 05 21:22:30 <rindolf> ron: it's there. Jul 05 21:22:32 <ron> rindolf: under src? Jul 05 21:22:38 <rindolf> ron: yes, under src. Jul 05 21:22:56 <ron> rindolf: try refreshing the view in eclipse. go to the project and press F5. Jul 05 21:23:29 <rindolf> ron: Refresh does not do anything. Jul 05 21:23:51 <ron> could you paste a screenshot please? ~images Jul 05 21:23:55 <ron> err Jul 05 21:24:00 <ron> ~image Jul 05 21:24:00 <Arbalest> Please upload your screenshots online and then paste the link back to the channel - http://imagebin.org/index.php?page=add - http://www.freeimagehosting.net/ - http://imagebin.ca/upload.php - http://imageshack.us/ Jul 05 21:24:02 <ron> yay! Jul 05 21:27:06 <rindolf> ron: http://imgur.com/uBdhG Jul 05 21:33:17 <ron> rindolf: right click on the project->Properties->Java Build Path->Source Jul 05 21:33:43 <ron> you should see your src dir there. what do you have under Included and Excluded under the src path? Jul 05 21:34:26 <rindolf> ron: Included: All ; Excluded: None ; Jul 05 21:35:03 <ron> okay, I'm sorry to ask this, not trying to annoy you, but I really want to make sure. when you created the project, are you sure you picked a clojure project and not a java project? Jul 05 21:35:27 <rindolf> ron: yes, I did. Jul 05 21:36:50 <ron> rindolf: did you reset the perspective as suggested in the tutorial? Jul 05 21:38:01 <rindolf> ron: I think I did. Jul 05 21:38:20 <rindolf> ron: yes, I did. Jul 05 21:39:06 <ron> rindolf: can you pastebin your project's directory and sub directories? Jul 05 21:39:43 <rindolf> ron: yes. Jul 05 21:40:21 <rindolf> ron: I have this there - -rw-r--r-- 1 shlomif shlomif 3237168 Jun 28 23:34 clojure.jar Jul 05 21:40:32 <rindolf> ron: so it would be too large. Jul 05 21:42:56 <ron> rindolf: can you pastebin the 'll *' output under the project dir please... this problem is fairly weird. Jul 05 21:44:00 <rindolf> ron: ah. Jul 05 21:45:43 <ron> hmm, the hidden files are missing. not that it should matter. Jul 05 21:48:54 <ron> rindolf: sorry, I give up. Jul 05 21:49:07 <rindolf> ron: OK, then I guess it's a bug. Jul 05 21:49:12 <rindolf> ron: I'll report it. Jul 05 21:49:26 <ron> rindolf: good luck. Jul 05 21:50:07 <rindolf> ron: thanks. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.
