Description Steven Darnell CLA 2011-07-01 18:05:38 EDT
Build Identifier: 3.7.0

We are building an RCP app and users have requested the ability to select a word in FormText by double-clicking the word. This is a standard behavior in text editors, web browsers, and Eclipse itself. Since text is already selectable in FormText (by mouse drag), I recommend also supporting this very common and expected workflow.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Double-click word in FormText
2. Word is not selected
3.

I am following up on this issue I submitted in July. Does anyone have an opinion on this bug/enhancement? I still contend that it should be fixed. Thanks.

UI forms is currently in maintenance only mode and we are not planning on implementing any new functionality in UI forms. I agree that double quick would be useful but we don't have any engineering resources available to work on it.
