Someone for the Gnome project wrote a perl cgi to handle weekly reports which
was later integrated by the KDE project. It generates a list of metrics per product:
https://bugs.kde.org/weekly-bug-summary.cgi

the same report is used by wikimedia
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/weekly-bug-summary.cgi?tops=10&days=7

The source code and templates are available from the KDE subversion repository:
http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/www/sites/bugs/

I think it would be useful if these reports could be made available for Eclipse projects.

They also have some more reports which could be also interesting.
