If I open the Maven 2 Console, it has the annoying habit to move itself in front when Maven logs anything to it.

This is very annoying if a build or a download is running in the background and I want to read the output of a normal Java program.

Note: It's possible that this only happens when Maven logs an error to the console.

Changing the settings for "Show Console when Standard Output/Error Changes" has no effect.

By default, m2e maven console moves itself in front when there are error messages. This can be disabled by deselecting "Show console on error" toggle in upper right corner of the maven console view and I double-checked that this is respected.
