+ Open the new Composite wizard.
+ Make sure to select SCA 1.0 and enable "Create a diagram file".
+ Select SCA 1.1 in the combo. "Create a diagram file" is disabled.
+ Turn back to SCA 1.0 in the list. "Create a diagram file" is enabled.
+ Click "Finish".

Only the composite file is created, not the diagram.
