+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #350275 +++

Orion 0.2 RC3

1. Install a plugin located on a hosted site (127.0.0.2) into your Orion client.
2. Restart the server (which will terminate the hosted site).
3. Clear cache and localStorage, then log into Orion again.
4. It will attempt to load the nonexistent plugin and hang for a long time until the request times out. This happens every time you access the navigator.

There is no obvious way to remove the plugin since it doesn't appear in the Plugins list.

Not doing more for 0.3 -- moving to 0.4.

Marking fixed in terms of work for 0.4. In bug 366739 we've taken the next step to expire metadata older than an hour. I'll open another bug as I think we also want the option to disable a plugin even though we want to still record it as being installed.
