Created attachment 198468 [details] screen shot Version: 4.1.0 Build id: I20110620-1631 When I am editing my Target Platform and am on the Content tab, it shows me the list of bundles that are available. It appears that each time I hit "Select All" it adds to the list, to the point where the running totals at the bottom are wrong. Attached is a screen shot showing the count being off. There should only be about 400 bundles available but each time I hit the button it adds to both columns.
Can you provide exact steps to reproduce? Using 3.7 I am not having the problem you describe. The select all button should become disabled after pressing (if no filters are being used). There is one problem with the enablement. The select all button is enabled based on whether 100% of the content is selected. However, the button actually only changes the check state of visible items. The enablement behaviour should match this if possible. However, the total number of items I had never changed.
Unfortunately the exact steps were a little weird. See bug 350172. Basically I switched machines and architectures. I was having problems so I went into the Target Platform page and noticed that not everything was checked in the Content so I started hitting Select All and things went bad from there. Also at one point I was running 32bit on the new 64bit machine and decided to get a fresh install (but use the same workspace). Not sure if the switch-over was before or after I had these problems.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
