The exact error message is:
   [input] ***WARNING: Display must be created on main thread due to Cocoa restrictions.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create Ant build.xml with task containing <input message="Enter PASSWORD for deployment" addproperty="password"/>
2. Using the the Ant View, launch the task that has the input tag.
3. See the Error Above

I am unable to reproduce this on Mac as well as windows. I tried running with the same jvm and a separate jvm. Am I missing anything?
Comment 2 Adam Caldwell CLA 2011-07-21 10:49:00 EDT
If I run it in the same VM, the input tag works.

I can reproduce the bug 100% of the time using an external 1.6 JVM (the version I downloaded yesterday after installing Lion, on a macbook pro, 2ghz Core i7, 4 GB 1333 Mhz DDR3 memory)

This is the build file:
<project name="ant-input-bug" default="all">
	<target name="all">
		<input message="Enter PASSWORD" addproperty="password"></input>
	</target>
</project>

Going to attach screenshots just in case I'm not explaining something right.

Thanks for the screens. Can you also attach the screens for the main tab and the properties tab?

Properties were already attached. Attached the Main screen.
There's nothing defined on the Environment screen.

Also attaching common screen (which I didn't change anything on)

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
