When I fixed bug 349810 , I used gitStatusResponse.CommitLocation to craft the HeadLocation.
As mentioned in bug 349810 in case that the current branch is detached ,we should have something like gitStatusResponse.HeadLocation in order to replace currrentBranch.CommitLocation.

Not sure if it is still relevant. I guess not. If it has to be fixed though, please reopen.
