Description Konrad Windszus CLA 2011-06-20 07:36:37 EDT
Whenever I have m2e connector for mavenarchiver pom properties	(0.13.0.201106171509	org.sonatype.m2e.mavenarchiver.pomproperties) installed, the error log shows:
Conflicting lifecycle mapping (plugin execution "org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-jar-plugin:2.3.1:jar (execution: default-jar, phase: package)"). To enable full functionality, remove the conflicting mapping and run Maven->Update Project Configuration.
for every project with packaging "jar".

The m2e connector can be installed via Properties->Maven->Discovery.
As soon as this connector is uninstalled, the error vanishes.

Please attach eclipse installation configuration details when the workspace is in "conflicting" state.

Seems to be the same issue as in https://issues.sonatype.org/browse/MECLIPSEWTP-137 and is now fixed in m2e-wtp. It was caused by the installation of the pomproperties and m2e-wtp.
