+1. This could be quite useful in cases where it is not trivial for a user to find the inferred type e.g. bug 349336 comment 1

After bug 348493 is fixed, this could also be interesting in 1.5 and 1.6 code (as quick fix).

"Insert inferred type arguments" is offered as quick assist and as quick fix for class instance creations.

Fixed in BETA_JAVA7.

Verified using patch 1.0.0.v20110714-1400.

It is nice to see this even for the 1.6 projects.
