When using the suggestion list (Ctrl + Space) eclipse hangs during a little while, and then crashes.

The Java Virtual Machine prompts this message, and the attached log file:

What version(s) of XULRunner do you have installed on your system?

This is fixed in the 3.7 release, marking report as a duplicate.
