When we are working on remote system like orion.eclipse.org and trying to open a file in editor, it seems to take some time.
During this time, there is just a white page appearing with no indication of whether processing is going on or is failed.

So, is it possible to render something to show the busy processing ?

How much time? We are sometimes seeing very long waits (minutes) ourselves, but typically only on the first page request after not using orion.eclipse.org for a while. After a reload, or going to other pages, the speed is fine.

However, given that you probably have much more latency, and less bandwidth, it would be interesting to see where the time goes in your case. Could you attach a screenshot of Firebug's Net panel, or of Web Inspector's Timeline panel?
