Description Jay Goldman CLA 2011-06-08 09:20:43 EDT
Build Identifier: 20110301-1815

If thread groups are enabled and a breakpoint is reached that is in a thread that is in a 'collapsed' group then you can wind up with no stack frame having focus and you have to go opening each group to find the thread.
There is no visible indication that the thread group contains a thread that is stopped at a breakpoint.

I thought this was related to bug 295776 - but that bug has been resolved and it was suggested that a separate bug be opened for the threads-group case.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start application that creates multiple threads in a thread group
2.switch to debug view, enable show thread groups, collapse thread groups
3.run till breakpoint

There's other issues related to java thread groups. This will take some diligent debugging in JavaThreadEventHandler.
