Description Kaloyan Raev CLA 2011-06-07 03:28:05 EDT
Dear webmaster,

I have troubles pushing changes to the git repo of the Libra project.

The same IDE setup was working a couple of weeks ago. Two things happened since then:
  1) I was forced to change my committer password.
  2) the eclipse.org outage.

I am not sure if any of the above two could be the reason for the problem.
I got this error both in EGit and msysgit bash.

Well git fsck says:

/gitroot/libra/org.eclipse.libra.git>git fsck
dangling commit 34132f621e217d5997d75a47bc6d99ea3f4a9873
dangling commit 56be0d18b5b753357a0fd2c07d1bd56c46cc659c

Perhaps this was caused by an issue similar to bug 347707 ?

I deleted the the local repo and cloned it again.
This does not help.

Perhaps, additional hint is that I am behind a firewall and accessing the git repo through https.

I was able to push the changes to git from home - using direct internet connection (no proxy) with ssh protocol.

So, it looks to be related to the usage of the https protocol.

Ok, looks like the the ACLs got corrupted in the outage last week. Should be all better now.
