Description Nicolas Bros CLA 2011-06-06 08:43:59 EDT
The download pages for EMF Facet:
http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emft/facet/downloads/
and MoDisco:
http://www.eclipse.org/MoDisco/downloads/
are empty.

Apparently, this is because /home/data2/httpd/download.eclipse.org/ is empty:

nbros@build ~
$ ls -l /home/data2/httpd/download.eclipse.org/
total 0

It looks like the downloads directory is not mounted on data2.
But it looks like it is mounted on:
/home/data/httpd/download.eclipse.org

Since I always used data2, I'm wondering why there are two similar download locations, and which one should be used?

Traditionally the distinction is that /home/data is 'live' and /home/data2 is served by our backup nfs server. The front line web servers all mount /home/data2. As far as I can remember build has never mounted /home/data2( which is why it appears empty).

In the end as long as you publish to ~nbros/downloads/my_project everything else should be taken care of.

I've done a little poking and it appears one of the front line nodes had a stale nfs mount which was probably the cause of this issue.
