I was about to answer a "Is there another way to get CDO so that I don't have to use this buggy "Install New Software" thing?" query on the "[CDO] License acceptance is preventing install" newsgroup thread with a use the zipeed update sites recommendation. I looked for the URL and couldn't find it.

All the modelling projects I regularly use EMF, EMF-Compare, MWE, Xpand, Xtext, OCL, UML, Acceleo, QVTo, GEF, ... provide a downloads page such as http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/downloads/?project=emf.

These are very useful source of Update Site ZIPs for deterministic multi-machine installation in spite of suspect connectivity. Similarly the Hudson jobs provide even prompter access to latest code.

There appears to be no counterpart for CDO.
