Description katter51 CLA 2011-06-01 23:03:36 EDT
Build Identifier: 20110218-0911

Sometimes when I click on a tab to edit a particular file the editor window will suddenly maximize and all other windows will disappear. Another thing that has happened several times is that when exiting the app, Vista will ask me if the app was working and if I want to restart it as an administrator.
The other issue is when selecting text. Sometimes the text will appear selected and then deselect itself. At other times when dragging to select the selection will hang and I have to start again. Another thing that happens is that I will select some text and suddenly the text I selected will become deselected and the selection will jump to the characters on the other side of the cursor.
These things have not kept me from using it. I just thought you would like to know it seems a bit unstable.

Reproducible: Sometimes

This sounds like you double-clicked unintentionally. Maybe your mouse is broken or you should check the double-click time.

I suppose this is due to some security feature of Vista. It has nothing to do with Eclipse.

All these effects are explainable by unintentional mouse clicks. Could you try with a different mouse?

Thanks for remaining faithful!

Are you using laptop? That could be too sensitive mousepad.

Do you still experience these problem after adjusting mouse/trackpad settings as suggested?
