Description John Arthorne CLA 2011-06-01 15:51:33 EDT
Workspace#save has a hidden option "keepConsistencyWhenCanceled". The IDE application downcasts to call this non-API save with a hidden option. This should be cleaned up.

- If it makes sense for IDE application, why doesn't it make sense for all applications?
- I don't see why you would *not* want to "keep consistency when canceled"
- The UI should not have to call internals. The flag should be API or the behaviour should be made the default for all callers of the IWorkspace#save API.

It looks like this was introduced by bug 257167.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
