Build Identifier: 20110526-1053 This issue should help you using testing-package to test your package. attached to this entry are some projects containing some simple tests for the testing-package itself. The tests are: * Checking perspective availability (meaning: it could be opened) * Checking view availability (meaning it is available in its perspective specific menu in Window->Show View) * Checking content of Installed Software entries (About Eclipse->Installation Details) The attached projects are: * unbound modules concrete (5.1 beta) (Contains basic test steps) * Eclipse Packaging Project (1.0) (Contains basic test steps for EPP) * Testing Package (1.0) (Contains Testing package specific test steps and test suites to run tests) To test your own package you can create a new project in jubula, select your Package as AUT and add your tests to your test suite. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: You need (take a look at the screenshot): 1. Install the the Jubula standalone application from http://eclipse.org/jubula/download.php for your system 2. Create the folder AUTs_EPP/TestingPackage in your Jubula root folder 3. Download the Testing Package from eclipse.org and extract it into the TestingPackage folder 4. Extract rcp-support.zip into the eclipse folder To start the tests: 1. Start your AUT agent (Jubula root server) 2. Import the attached projects into the Testing package 3. Connect to your agent 4. Start AUT with Jubula 5. Wait until Testing Package has been started 6. Run FULLTEST test suite

The Eclipse for Testers package was removed in Bug 570821. Therefore any remaining bugs are now being closed as WONTFIX. If this bug is still relevant, please make a comment and we'll move it to the correct project/component for further investigation. This change was made as part of a bulk change.
