Description Stijn Vanpoucke CLA 2011-05-27 10:21:30 EDT
Build Identifier:

It would be nice if you could pin a tab in the eclipse editor like you can do in chrome or in firefox. This would be very useful for files you return to frequently so you don't need to search them again every time when you're working in a lot of files simultaneously.

Reproducible: Always

The pin editor functionality is available when "Close editors automatically" option is enabled on the "Editors" preference page.
Comment 2 Stijn Vanpoucke CLA 2011-05-31 05:59:19 EDT
The difference is when you do it like you've said, the pinned editor isn't always quickly available in the tabs. Sometimes you still need to do a "CTRL+E"
