Description discorev CLA 2011-05-27 09:19:33 EDT
With a fully up-to-date copy of ZendStudio freshly installed on my OS X machine (OS X 10.6.7 fully up to date also [that shouldn't have much effect but still]) When I try to install JGit/EGit from http://downloads.eclipse.org/egit/updates I get this error:

An error occurred while installing the items
session context was:(profile=studioProfile, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Install, operand=null --> [R]org.eclipse.egit 0.12.1, action=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.touchpoint.eclipse.actions.InstallBundleAction).
Error while loading manipulator.
Error while loading manipulator.

If I go back and remove EGit from the installation selection so as to just install JGit I get the same error:

An error occurred while installing the items
session context was:(profile=studioProfile, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Install, operand=null --> [R]org.eclipse.jgit 0.12.1, action=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.touchpoint.eclipse.actions.InstallBundleAction).

Thought I'd report it, as it renders the plugin un-usable for me and I rather was hoping to use it. I am unsure as to weather this issue effects non-OS X users.

This isn't a JGit or EGit issue.

This is a ZendStudio issue. EGit and JGit install fine into Eclipse.
