Hi,
having for example this query :

[query public t(eclass : EClass) : EObject = if eclass.eInverse()->isEmpty() then null else eclass.eInverse()->first() endif/]

null is light blue. 

change it by invalid result the same.

A fix has been contributed on R3_1_maintenance, it will be available for Acceleo 3.1.1
