The IP Contribution Review Tool

   http://eclipse.org/projects/tools/ip_contribution_review.php?id=tools.tm

is helpful for cleaning up tracking of iplog+ flags - but it's not perfect, there are some false positives being reported.

As a committer, reviewing last year's contributions only has highest priority for me. The tool should offer a filter to only show attachments made in the past year (past review period). That way I could focus on anything happened recently, assuming that my log was in a good shape during the previous contribution.

I'd still look at older dates for completeness, but the date range woudl make the tool MUCH more usable and help focus on what's relevant.

For reference, it may also make sense to use different approaches / different kinds of tools to look at contributions.

What I found most helpful was a bugzilla query that I prepared myself - see first query here:

   http://eclipse.org/tm/development/bug_process.php

It looks at all bugs modified last year, and finds those which have an attachment from non-committer that's not marked iplog+ and is no image. Simple but helpful since it helped me find a contribution that the Review Tool missed
(see bug 347278 ).

That tools has been retired since we stopped using Bugzilla as a source of IPLog information.
