Created attachment 196628 [details] Sample designer depicting the problem Variable pageNumber is correctly set only if BIRT explicitly knows that there is a page break to happen. If you break a page intentionally, either by limiting the max rows in a page(page break interval) or by using explicit break requests, pageNumber is set correctly. But, if the data is spanning more than one page and an implicit page break happens, the pageNumber is still set to 1. This behavior is observed when exporting the data to pdf. Attached is a simple designer.
Can't reproduce your issue in the latest BIRT 3.7, seems has been resolved.
Is the release BIRT 3.7 available for download. The latest one that is put for download is 2.6.2. Is this release expected in the near future?
