It has some to my attention that xquery is distributing (via your build downloads) org.antlr.runtime_v31_3.1.0.*.jar But apparently there is no CQ for this? Is there a CQ? I also see that Orbit distributes org.antlr.runtime but only versions 3.0 and 3.2 ... so, not sure ... where are you getting your 3.1 version from? If you really need that version, you need a cq for it. But, my advice is to try and move to 3.2, and use the version from Orbit. Should be easy to "piggy back" on the Orbit CQ, to relatively painless. If you are using 3.1 version, from your own git space repository, and there is no cq for it, then you will need to remove it from that source code repository as well. While you are not "releasing" anything, we are required to keep our IP Logs (and our IP) clean and current at all times ... so please give this some quick attention. Thanks,
I will change it to 3.2. I guess I was not aware of the minor version that has to be approved as a separate CQ and probably thought that 3.1 is compatible with 3.0. Thanks for pointing this out! (In a few months we should get rid of both GSON and ANTLR dependencies)
(In reply to comment #1) > I will change it to 3.2. > > I guess I was not aware of the minor version that has to be approved as a > separate CQ ... Oh, yes! Even a change in service level! Any change/difference at all. There really is a reason for it. There have been cases where, say, a version 1.1.1 was acceptable and compatible with Eclipse, but a version 1.1.2 was not, and then a version 1.1.3 was again. (Usually because the third party made a mistake in their version 1.1.2 and included things they didn't really intend to. Plus, it is important to get the version from Orbit. If you are getting it from somewhere else, even then it needs a new review, if if same version as what's in Orbit, since sometimes the versions in Orbit are a subset of the third party's code (and usually a subset for legal reasons). So ... where is the current 3.1 version from?
I did find a CQ (from xquery incubator) that covers version 3.1.1, https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2662 So, sounds like you you need to get rid of that 3.1.0 version as soon as possible, and, at least, use 3.1.1 that you have a cq for.
This should be fixed now. Using ANTLR runtime 3.2.0 from Orbit
