Build Identifier: 20110519-1049 Upon trying to use my 'under development' version of plugins for checkstyle and pmd, I ended up with m2e doing two very odd things: making 'problems' with a description string of 'null', and offering to add pom exclusions but not actually adding them. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install eclipse-java-indigo-M7-macosx-cocoa-x86_64.tar.gz 20110519-1049 2. run updates from Help 3. Created tag m2e-bugzilla-snapshot on github.com:bimargulies/m2e-code-quality.git so you can see where this all comes from. 4. Install http://eclipse-cs.sf.net/update/ 5. Install ttp://pmd.sourceforge.net/eclipse 6. installed from com.basistech.m2e.code.quality.site-0.13.0-SNAPSHOT-site.zip (this takes a rather a long time 'calculating requirements' and such) 7. svn checkout https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/webservices/xmlschema/tags/xmlschema-2.0 8. In eclipse, import/maven/existing projects for that xmlschema tree 9. leave all projects selected 10. 'next' I see Packaging bundle (Install Tycho configurator ...) maven-bundle-plugin (Install Tycho configurator ...) maven-checkstyle-plugin (Resolve later) maven-pmd-plugin (Resolve later) The last two are surprising, since the checkstyle and pmd mapping work fine when I launch eclipse from inside eclipse. I wonder if I'm missing something from build.properties. 11. Finish 12. Confirm tycho install 13. Restart -- now, Problems view has three problems with a description of 'null' Plus other complaints about my stuff that don't make sense to me, like claiming that one of my classes isn't available. 14. Try the quick-fix on one of the 'not covered by execution errors' - no offer to fix parent proj - no actual change made to any pom at all

Is this still relevant? (Sorry for the late response, this somehow slipped through the cracks.)
