Description Holger Staudacher CLA 2011-05-20 03:30:23 EDT
With our current table item you can set the background but you can't set the opacity. In some cases it would be useful to have semi transparent hover backgrounds. Especially when you have different background colors for the TableItems.

Would you expect the cell background colors shine through the selected / hovered item's background?
A screenshot/mock would be helpful.

Commit 3ea9cb2bbcb5be4e0bd88ab04bfc0a89b95623c0 adds rgba background color support for the overlay element of grid and table. It's not supported on the item itself (wouldn't be useful anyways), and currently not supported for gradients, but that can be fixed later on.
