the new p2 import wizard in 3.7 offers 2 possiblities to import 1. From existing installation 2. Install Software items from file However the additianl description and explaining text in the dialog above (near the "Select" text is quite irritanting and I think wrong: 1. From existing installation --> "Install a set of software from the local file system" 2. Install Software items from file --> "Install a batch of software from another ecplise instance" -A: could it be that the explanations have been unintentionally swapped ? I think from exisiting installation means from another eclipse instance and also takes the eclipse install directoy and NOT the p2f file -B: I think the explanation "Install a set of software from the local file system" is not very good and irritating. It is _JUST_ the p2f file which is local. All the p2f entries are remote and point to the original p2 location so it is _FAR_ from being local
