I have a project on git with some linked folders targeting folders in other places of my filesystem (them on git too but another repository). The problem is that egit see the content of theses folders and the folders themselves as resources to commit in the project reository.

I see too issues here:
1. theses files are not really in the project so EGit should not even see them
2. even if EGit wanted to be clever it should then see theses file in the real git repository they are and not the project repository

All I expect personally is 1. which is how subversive behave for example. 2. would just be a nice to have I guess.
