I think that when a repository is presented to the user he should be able to view the remote's URI. Currently the default name of the repository is the name of a directory it's cloned into. I think after some time user may forget what did he actually cloned into this repository.

Fixed with http://git.eclipse.org/c/e4/org.eclipse.orion.server.git/commit/?id=b13c31457903160c0489c6c43c41788ae5009ef3. Look for org.eclipse.orion.server.git.GitConstants.KEY_URL ("GitUrl") in the response. Please, bare in mind it can be null.
