Description Boris Bokowski CLA 2011-05-16 20:34:56 EDT
I have the Orion server Git repository which was cloned using the command line. When I do a "git status" on the command line, I only see changes that I have made. When looking at git-status.html I see lots of .class files as changes that should not be there.

I am on Max OS X 10.6.7.

Boris do you know what project this was on? Do you still see it? These are controlled by .gitignore files in the file system so it is possible there is a project that is just mis-configured? I have never seen this (Win 7).

Also I don't think Libing is the right assignee for this. I would expect the Git UI is just rendering the status information returned by the server. The class files should be filtered out on the server (I suspect by JGit processing the .gitignore files).
