Description Matthias Zimmermann CLA 2011-05-10 16:13:27 EDT
AbstractDateField parses the entered text using the default locale and only accepts one of the following:
- no separator chars
- only the separator defined for the current locale

unfortunately the number block on the German keybord only has a ',' but not the '.' on it, but local DE requires a '.'

Before dates are parsed, any separator chars should be removed. If days or months are entered as single digits, leading 0 need to be inserted before parsing.
