Description Amit Mookerjee CLA 2011-05-09 13:50:32 EDT
The platform created by the platform wizard inherits from the generic platform which assigns a fixed cpu id for the CPU core. This causes problems when using certain software components like the PSP drivers. This problem can only be resolved by specifying the cpu id in the configuration script. The platform wizard should provide a way for the user to specify the cpu id of the cpu contained in the generated platform. Refer to http://e2e.ti.com/support/embedded/int-embedded_software/f/123/p/104428/387193.aspx#387193 for details.

The original problem seems to be related to identifying the cpu core of interest and there should be better ways of handling it than setting a cpu id.
