Eclipse I20110504-0800 + EGit 0.12.1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to Git repos view
2. Drill down to /jgit/Remotes/origin/<fetch>
3. Right click, Fetch
4. When asked for a password, press Cancel
=> An error occurs with no details

Now at least now I know what went wrong but still this is not what I would expect.
