Some changes to the documentation are needed for the 1.1 release. This is the list I have: 1) New and noteworthy 2) There is no documentation for MAT’s preference page (we didn’t had preference page before) 3) Compare functionality is only described in the previous New & Noteworthy. We need to move it to a separate page and update it to reflect the latest changes 4) The copyright date on the “Legal” page needs to be updated There are probably also other things which I'm currently not seeing. Let's use this ticket to track the changes.
@Andrew: will you have time to look at 2) ? I'll try to do make the other changes.
I have some changes ready to document the preference page (to analyzingthreads.dita and configure_mat.dita)
I've added the preference page documentation, some documentation for the DTFJ thread stack frames options, and copied the context query browser from new and noteworthy to the main section.
- I created Comparing Objects under Tasks and moved there the content from the New Noteworthy. I added also some explanation hoping to clarify the limitations we have (i.e. no stable object IDs). I haven't described the new capabilities - the set operations on tables from the same dump - Adjusted the copyright date in the Legal page
I updated the New and Noteworthy page. Andrew, could you please have a look at it (may be my non-native English needs some fixes)? Is there something else we should mention?
I've copied the compare set operations information from new and noteworthy to also be in the compare objects task.
There is also the value tab in the inspector view.
I'll add a link to the existing help for the following queries using @HelpUrl: group by value top consumers retained set path 2 gc roots
I'm closing this one now, as 1.1 is finished. MAT 1.1.0 documentation is available in the Web together with all Indigo documentation.
