Screenshot of a non-propagated decorator

If I create a new file in a folder under Git version control, the folder will not be decorated as "not in sync"... and neither will the folder's parents. The decoration will appear if I Team > Add this new file ... but that change might be lost if I don't remember that there is a deeply nested new file somewhere in my project.

See attached screenshot for a package explorer which does not display any decorator for the working set "GIT" (this decoration will need bug 344937 to be fixed beforehand), and no decorator for the project "GitModels" either, even so the file GitModels/file has been added (decorated with a "?" as I did not "Team > Add" it yet).
