There should be the possibility to set complex shapes as a representation for connections.
For example the possibility to set a double Line as a shape for the connection. To get something like ===>.

Reproducible: Always

This bug seems to be more general than Bug 367483 but it targets towards the same thing.
Phillip: could you have a look into the other bug and let us know if having a composite connection would be sufficient for you or if you would really need generic shape support here? Thanks.
