Description Shilpi CLA 2011-05-05 02:53:50 EDT
Build Identifier: 1.7.2.v20100914-1028

The method responsible for creating and saving the results file is not being called when we run scripts from SQL Editor in Eclipse.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Write an SQL script on SQL Editor.
2.Save and Run.
3.The SQL Results can be seen in the SQL Results tab.
4.Run the script again.
5.Click the result obtained in Step3. They are no longer present.

Basically, if we see in the workspace on our file system, the result file was never saved. That is why it disappears when we switch between different results.

What SQL editor are you using? PDE does not provide this and I'm not sure who does. Doing a google search I only see SQL editors available from third party sites (sourceforge, etc) so I am closing this as NOT_ECLIPSE until more information is provided.

Reopening and moving to data tools, they provide some SQL support. Please comment with more information on your setup though.

Closing this bug as we have a different fix which does not involve eclipse.org plugin.
