I took the latest code this morning and noticed that I didn't have HTML syntax highlighting.  I had to clear localstorage to get it.

John said this is because we fixed "change a plugin" for M7 but not "add a plugin" with respect to the cache.

I assume this is a well known issue but I'm opening a bug so we don't forget.

Fixed in HEAD. John Reviewed.

Preferences will now expire and be re-fetched after an hour. If we for whatever reason fail to fetch the preference (e.g. server down or disconnected) we will continue to use the stale version.
