Build Identifier: M20110210-1200

The Eclipse splashscreen (eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.platform_3.6.2.v201102101200\splash.bmp) has no localized version. No localized splash.bmp can be found in the eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.platform.nl1_3.6.2.v201102251823 plugin.

When starting Eclipse in any other locale than English, copyright text will still show in English.



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Eclipse with Japanese locale: eclipse.exe -nl ja
2. Splash screen shows with copyright in English

Not sure, I'll ask around.  We usually provide the splash screen, but AFAIK the .bmp includes the copyright.

As far as I know, this has been the case since the very beginning.  The copyright and other legal wording is included in the artwork itself.  I really don't see this changing.  I think the answer is that if you want localized splashes, you could provide your own.
