Reasonably often, I have to manually kill Eclipse. It gets stuck while launching, or synchronizing with SVN, or some other task, and there is no way to interrupt it. Unfortunately, when doing that, fairly often the UI gets nuked, and I have to customize the views all over again. Ideal would be if Eclipse wouldn't get hung. But failing that, can you at least save a stable copy of the UI configuration data so it doesn't get lost? -- Configuration Details -- Product: Eclipse 1.3.1.20100913-1228 (org.eclipse.epp.package.java.product) Installed Features: org.eclipse.jdt 3.6.1.r361_v20100714-0800-7z8XFUSFLFlmgLc5z-Bvrt8-HVkH
