Description Tod Creasey CLA 2011-04-27 09:47:24 EDT
The "Binding" field in the Preferences (Key binding) dialog permits a user to copy and add values that are longer than the edit field. In this case, some of the text runs off the end of the edit field. The user can increase the size of the dialog in order to increase the length of the field, but when large screen fonts are used, there is not necessarily any real estate left.

As well, a text cursor is available in the edit field and you can even type in a few characters. But the text cursor cannot be used to view the contents of the field nor can other text operations be executed.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
